Cultivating Relationships with Private Grantmakers

One of the questions I often hear at the nonprofit workshops we host is "How do I make a good connection with a potential funder?" The Foundation Center answers this question on their website. One of their recommendations is to read the book Thank You for Submitting Your Proposal which you can check out from the library. If you don't have time to read a whole book, you may want to take 2 minutes to read a missive from a former Senior Program Officer at the William Randolph Hearst Foundation.
