End of Year Donations

Did you know that according to the Online Giving Study more than 20% of all yearly giving occurs in the last two days of the year? Hopefully, you've been working to increase the visibility of your nonprofit through social media tactics and other publicity methods to receive your fair share of those donations. Either way, check out Network for Good's 5 easy tips to increase your year-end giving. The obvious reason behind this end-of-year donation increase is that donors want to take advantage of charitable deductions for their taxes. In this case, you may wish to refresh your memory on the IRS's rules regarding charitable donation  acknowledgement letters  for donors' tax records so that everyone can start the upcoming new year off right.
