International Topics Film Development or Production Grants | | Deadline: January 12, 2011
Applications for Briding Cultures Through Film: International Topics documentary film grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Development grants of up to $75,000 each and production grants of up to $800,000 each are available for films that examine critical issues in ethics, religion, or history, viewed through an international lens; approach a topic or subject that transcends the idea of traditional nation statehood and explores it across borders; are biographies of a foreign leader, writer, artist, or historical figure; or explore the history and cultures of a specific region, country, or community outside the United States. Aaron Copland Fund for Music Accepting Applications for Contemporary American Music Recording Program | | Deadline: January 15, 2011
The Aaron Copland Fund for Music seeks to encourage and improve public knowledge and appreciation of contemporary American music. The fund's Recording Program provides grants to document and provide wider exposure for the music of contemporary American composers; develop audiences for contemporary American music through distribution of recorded performances in physical and online media; and support the production of new recordings of contemporary American music and the reissuance of significant recordings that are no longer available. Proposals may be submitted by nonprofit professional performance ensembles, presenting institutions, and nonprofit or commercial recording companies. The fund favors first recordings. Jazz for Peace | | Deadline: January 15, 2011
Grants averaging between $1,000 and $60,000 each will support organizations that benefit the world in some way and are lacking financial support. Grants will provide both cash and staff members to help winning applicants stage fund raisers. Click for Complete Information |

National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards for After School Arts Programs | | Deadline: January 31, 2011
The National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards, sponsored by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, recognize excellence in after-school and out-of-school arts and humanities programs for underserved children and youth. These programs offer high-quality and intensive instruction on weekends, afternoons, and summer vacations, providing a safe and productive space for young people in the hours when they are often the most vulnerable. Twelve winners will receive a $10,000 award and an invitation to accept their award at a ceremony at the White House. Programs initiated by museums, libraries, performing arts organizations, universities, colleges, arts centers, community service organizations, schools, and eligible government agencies are encouraged to apply. American Association of University Women: Community Action Grants | | Deadline: January 15, 2011
The AAUW Community Action Grants program provides funds to individuals, AAUW organizations, and local community-based nonprofit organizations throughout the country for innovative programs or non-degree research projects that promote education and equity for women and girls. Special consideration is given to projects focused on K-12 and community college girls' and women's achievements in science, technology, engineering, or math. One-year grants of up to $7,000 provide seed money for new projects; two-year grants of up to $10,000 provide start-up funds for longer-term programs that address the particular needs of the community and develop girls' sense of efficacy through leadership or advocacy opportunities. Barnes & Noble Sponsorship | |

As part of their commitment to good corporate citizenship, Barnes & Noble considers local and national support requests from non-profit organizations that focus on literacy, the arts, or education (pre-K through 12th grade). They also consider sponsorship opportunities where they can partner with organizations that focus their core businesses on higher learning, literacy, and the arts. They seek opportunities that offer in-store events, visibility, and reach a wide audience.
