Chinese New Year
The date for the 2012 Chinese New Year Celebration in Media has been changed from Saturday, January 21st to Sunday, January 22nd at noon due to the performers' availability for that weekend. Please consider being open for the event for the performers and attendees. We are planning to advertise the event more heavily this year to build on the popularity and to compensate for the date change.
Please join us on Sunday January 22nd to ring in the "Year of the Dragon." Wishing everyone a Happy and Prosperous 2012! In partnership, Warren Kuo

Holiday Recap
We hope you agree that we had a festive holiday in Media this year. Here's a recap...
Santa's Village: Santa's Village enjoyed another great year bringing smiles to children from all over the area. A big thank you to Franklin Mint Credit Union for hosting the event and Turning Point for their creative design. If you have any suggestions or comments to make Santa's Village even better next year, please feel free to let us know. Carriage Rides: There was a nice buzz around town this year about holiday ambience the carriage rides added to Media. Carriage riders enjoyed receiving gift bags with donations from local businesses. If you missed it this year, there will be another chance next year to add something special to promote your business. The MBA would like to thank 76 Carriage Rides from Philadelphia for providing the beautiful horses and carriages.
New Year's Eve Ball Drop: Media rang in 2012 with record numbers of people this year; even a bride and groom joined the party! The weather was perfect and the streets were filled with music and great energy. Media is grateful to those who made this a fun celebration and safe event: Keyes' Towing, George Smith, Higgin's Electric, Spasso's Clauio Sandolo, the MBA, and the Media/Upper Providence Police.
