Rockin' Recipe:  

Witches Brew
Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients
1 1/2 tablespoons margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds 

 

Directions
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C).
Combine the margarine, salt, garlic salt, Worcestershire sauce and pumpkin seeds. Mix thoroughly and place in shallow baking dish.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

1. What made you begin your journey with Rockitbody and SPX?
After taking over 10 years of traditional Pilates, I stumbled upon the SPX method at Rockitbody.  Then I thought, "This was what I have been searching for!" An increase in intensity, some cardio, and resistance, all while using the Pilates based "proformer".  This was my 'dream' workout! Creative moves with 1-2 minute intervals can give EVERYONE the long, lean sculpted body that they want!


2. What is your favorite part about Rockitbody?

My favorite thing about Rockitbody is the super quick results!  I've seen clients achieve visible and physical results in 2 weeks!!!  It's all about the intensity at Rockitbody, and this intensity given in a short 50 minute class, provides "full body" results.

 

 

3. What is your favorite SPX exercise?

I.  Power lunge is a favorite because you can isolate that standing glute and hammy as much as possible. By doing so, you create a lifted beautiful bootay!!! :)

 

Il. Snake is another favorite because it's a combination of two core exercises- the flow of movement, and focusing on proper tempo of 'spring tension', creates that sculpted oblique!

 

 

4. What words of advice would you give to a new client during their first week of classes?

I would emphasize the importance of listening closely to the instructor's VERBAL CUES!  Also, look at your neighbors.  Watch and mimic their placement of feet, and hands to assure proper alignment and positioning.  Lastly, always ask instructor questions after class, if you are not clear on what muscle grosup the exercise is focused on, or if you are unclear with respect to proper positioning.  The instructors should always be there to help you improve, become stronger, and prevent injury!  
 

 

Things to Always Remember!  

 

1. Redondo Beach is metered parking.  6 am- 6 pm, 7 day/week.

2. Purchase a Redondo Beach Parking Pass for $80/yr

3. Tread socks must be worn in all classes. You may bring your own, or  purchase them at our studio.(Please remember, no shoes allowed on the black mats)

4. Please turn off cellphones during classes.

5. All Auto-pay memberships (3 month, etc) are also Auto-Renewing.  

So, that means that when your 3 months end, it will always automatically renew your membership for the following 3 months. To discontinue the membership, please email us at least ten days before the renewal date.

6.  You must have a valid credit card on file at all times.      

If your auto pay does not go through when scheduled, we will be required to put your account on hold until we reconcile your account.  You will not get those days added back at the end of your hold.

8. Waitlist - if a class is full, you can still click "Sign Up Now" to be put on the Wait List.

 9.  Lost & Found- Please check out the lost and found in both locations for items missing. We will be donating all items at the beginning of each month.
