For all 3-month Packages


Take up to three (3) 10 day freezes anytime from now through January 2, 2011. 

 It's our gift to you!  Rockit Body Pilates wants to help make your holiday travels as easy as can be. 

Terms:
  • Members must have a current 3-month package now, or purchase one within the
       promotion dates.
    May freeze anytime through January 2nd, 2011.
    Total times you can freeze during a three month contract: 3

    Maximum number of days per freeze: 10
    Days in advance you need to email us to inform us of a freeze: 7
    We will place one freeze in your account at a time unless you want to combine the freezes.

    RockIt Recess is Off The Hook!

    Kids of all ages are rushing out of the classroom or workroom into our high energy, high cardio playroom to get a sweat drenching workout! If you haven't tried it yet, come down and join the fun to see what all the talk is about.  But BEWARE! Since instructions are given at the beginning of class, tardy students will not be able to jump in mid-class.  Avoid late fees, and be a good student; join us for RockIt Recess and remember to be here before the bell rings!

    Rockit Body is proud to sponsor our client, Kim Nelson, for the Miss California USA pageant this November. 
    She is the reining Miss Palos Verdes, and uses her title to serve as a mentor to young girls seeking guidance and insight.  We know she is beautiful inside and out, and we wish her the best of luck.  Go Kim! 

    Kaci Bathurst, our Rockin' trainer, won 1st place for her division at the Manhattan Beach 10K on October 2nd.  Way to run Kaci!

    Wedding bells were ringing last October when our own Amber tied the knot!  She and Christopher Jewett were married in Newport, Rhode Island accompanied by family and friends.  Best wishes to them both!

    Curried Apple Soup
               Apple Curry Soup
    Serves 4  Prep:15  Total: 40 Minutes
    1 tablespoon unsalted butter

    2 shallots, minced
    2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
    1 1/2 tablespoons curry powder
    2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 small russet potato, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 teaspoon coarse salt, plus more for seasoning
    3 3/4 cups homemade or low-sodium canned chicken stock
    1/2 cup milk
    Freshly ground pepper
    Sour cream, for garnish

    1.     Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add shallots; cook until soft and translucent, about 2 minutes. Add ginger and curry powder; cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add apples, potato, salt, and chicken stock. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, and cook until potato is tender when pierced with a paring knife, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat, and let cool slightly.

    2.     Use an immersion blender, or transfer mixture to the jar of a blender, working in batches if necessary so as not to fill more than halfway; puree just until smooth (do not overprocess). Return soup to pan; stir in cream, and season with salt and pepper. Place over medium heat until soup is just heated through; do not let it boil. Divide soup among serving bowls, and garnish with sour cream.

    Things to Always Remember!

    1. Redondo Beach is metered parking.  6 am- 6 pm, 7 day/week.
    2. Purchase a Redondo Beach Parking Pass for $80/yr
    (click Here to Purchase Pass).
    3. Tread socks must be worn in all classes. You may bring your own, or    
           purchase them at our studio.
           (Please remember, there are no shoes allowed in the workout area)
    4. Please turn off Cellphones during classes.
    5. All Auto-pay memberships (3 month, etc) are also Auto-Renewing. 
            So, that means that when your 3 months end, it will always automatically renew your
            membership for the following 3 months. 
            To discontinue the membership, please email us at least ten days before the renewal date.
    6.  You must have a valid credit card on file at all times. 
            If your auto pay does not go through when scheduled, we will be required to put your
            account on hold
    until we reconcile your account.
            You will not get those days added back at the end of your hold.

    8. Waitlist-
    • If a class is full, you can still click "Sign Up Now" to be put on the Wait List.
    • If you get into the class, you should receive an automatic email asking you to confirm or cancel.  Please reply by email within six hours or you may lose the spot.
    • Please make sure you do not confirm for a waitlist class if you are scheduled for the same day in another class.  If you wish to confirm your waitlist class, and cancel your previously scheduled class, please email or call us at the front desk.  Instructors cannot cancel people out of classes.

    9.  Lost & Found- Please check out the lost and found in both locations for items missing. We will be donating all items Jan 1, 2011.  Even our lost and found needs a fresh start in the new year! .
