RockIt Recess
Transforming our RockIt Body studio to a HIGH INTENSITY Adult Playground.  You will leave drenched and energized. This 50-minute "PROPS" class offers multiple methods of  training through circuit stations that will always keep your body guessing!  New training props will be placed throughout the studio for a rockin' fun time!  TRX, plyometric exercises, Bosu, Barre, and of course the Proformer are just some of our props and equipment that will transform your body!
Please bring a towel to class, you'll need it!

RockIt Run & Define
A high-cardio 60-minute class that takes you out of the studio for a jog/brisk walk to either the beach or a field, where circuit stations are set-up for challenging and rockin' exercises. Then you jog/brisk walk back to the studio!
Please check live schedule, or call, if it is raining outside.
No need to be a runner!     All levels welcome.    Please wear shoes to jog in.
RockIt Body Pilates and we will not be held responsible for any injuries.

Jasmine

"One tough cookie"
Coming to RockIt Body every weekend from the Pilates Plus Palm Springs studio, Jasmine has been teaching SPX for three years to date. She was fortunate to assist in the launch of Pilates Plus La Jolla and Sculpt SPX Solana Beach, as well as taking parallel steps to get certified in Classical / Traditional Pilates. Jasmine does not believe the body can Plateau if you continue to challenge differently, thus, she incorporates  body weight plyometric exericses, kettlebells, balance work, TRX, medicine balls, BOSU balls, boxing, ballet, and the Roller for a myofascial release after intense training.
Jasmine is very excited to keep her clientele in the desert during the week, and put sweat and smiles on the faces of the beach residents on the weekends.


        
Kelly
Kelly's vast dance background and love for fitness were fused perfectly when she helped launch the fitness franchise, Cardio Barre.  As an instructor and Director of Operations, she was directly responsible for establishing their format, and training future instructors & owners in the Cardio Barre method.  Along with her keen business sense, she has been a Cirque du Soleil dancer, a Royal Caribbean performer, a captain of her University's National Grand Champion dance team, a personal trainer, a workout clothing line designer, and has starred in fitness DVDs, amongst other things.  "Find something fun that you are passionate about, and do it on a daily basis.  It's about always challenging yourself to be better, do more, and get more out of life."


Jennifer B
Devoted to fitness for over 20 years, Jennifer is known for her creative workouts.  She does it all- TRX training, Beach workouts, Personal training, boot camp circuit training, etc..., which was recently named Personal Trainer of the Month by the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT).
Is a fitness professional dedicated to helping clients achieve their health and fitness goals. Devoted tofitness for over 20 years, she believes that people who exercise regularly and take care of their bodies are not only more physically fit, but are also more emotionally fit, and happier overall. She is a contributor for our fitness blog "Naturally Savvy" and most recently was named Personal Trainer of the Month by the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT).

Katie
She enjoys all types of fitness activities such as running, spinning, kickboxing, yoga and pilates. Growing up, Katie was trained as a ballet, jazz and hip hop dancer.  She is AFAA Group Exercise Certified, AFAA Cycling Instruction Certified and CPR/AED Certified. Katie has run the Carlsbad half marathon twice and is running the Long Beach half marathon in October.

The Lowdown About the 3-month Auto-pay & Auto-Renewal
Just want to clarify that...
 All Auto-pay memberships (3 month, etc) are also Auto-Renewing. 
So, that means that when your 3 months end, it will always automatically renew your membership for the following 3 months,  To discontinue the membership, please email us at least ten days before the renewal date.

If your auto pay does not go through when scheduled, we will be required to put your account on hold until we reconcile your account.
You will not get those days added back at the end of your hold.

Poached Salmon with Cucumber Dill Sauce
           Salmon Dill
2 cups Chablis or other dry white wine
2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon chicken-flavored
       bouillon granules
6 peppercorns
4 sprigs fresh dillweed
2 bay leaves
1 rib celery, chopped
1 small lemon, sliced
6 salmon fillets, 4 ounces each
Cucumber-Dill Sauce
1/3 cup peeled, seeded, finely
chopped cucumber
1/3 cup fat-free sour cream
Vz cup fat-free plain yogurt
2 teaspoons chopped fresh dillweed
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Fresh dillweed sprigs (optional)

To make the salmon:
Combine the wine, water, bouillon, peppercorns, dillweed, bay leaves, celery, and lemon in a skillet. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the salmon to the mixture in the skillet and cook for 10 minutes or until the fish flakes easily.

Transfer the salmon to a platter, using a slotted spoon. Cover, and chill thoroughly. Discard the liquid mixture remaining in the skillet.
To make the cucumber-dill sauce: In a medium bowl, mix together the cucumber, sour cream, yogurt, dillweed, and mustard.
To serve, place the fillets on individual serving plates. Spoon the sauce evenly over the fillets. Garnish with fresh dillweed sprigs, if using.
Serves 6.  Per serving:

Learn about posture, form, and the fun of
RockIt Body Pilates!

This interactive RockIt Body Pilates class designed for Teens will combine moves on the Proformer, modified to suit a younger body. Classes will integrate coordination exercises, as well as help build body-image and self-esteem. Our signature RockIt Barre class
(barre fitness), and new RockIt Recess class will also be taught during the workshops. 

Build strength, confidence, gain better self & body awareness.

Things to Always Remember!

1. Redondo Beach is metered parking.  6 am- 6 pm, 7 day/week.
2. Purchase a Redondo Beach Parking Pass for $75/yr

3. Tread socks must be worn in all classes. You may bring your own, or    
       purchase them at our studio.
       (Please remember, there are no shoes allowed in the workout area)
4. Please turn off Cellphones during classes.
5. Here Are Some Waitlist Tips:
  • If a class is full, you can still click "Sign Up Now" to be put on the Wait List.
  • If you get into the class, you should receive an automatic email asking you to confirm or cancel.
  • Upon receiving this email, you have six hours to respond.
  • Reply to the email with a "yes" or a "no" regarding the class.
  • If we do not hear from you, we may cancel your space and give it to the next person.
