This newsletter covers MANY important topics. We know its long, but we know you care - stay in the loop - read everything in full. Some of you have seen this information before, to some of you it will be new, but all of you will learn something new.

Two is Better Than One!
Managing your account as we grow

You know how to see the schedule, you know how to book a class, you are able to login, but do you know how to make sure you are getting the most from your RockIt Body Scheduler? The more you manage your schedule the less room for error on both ends!

Edit Your Information
Under this section there are many things you can control regarding your online account.
-Change your password
-Set your location to the studio you use most
-Update email, phone and address info
-Change your billing information
-Add a family member
To access this section, click on the "My Info" tab followed by "Edit Your Account" located in the top black bar.

Check Your Schedule
This will allow you to see a comprehensive list of all future reservations. It is important to look at this after you book several classes to make sure there are no errors in your class times, types, or locations. Some features:
-Cancel your classes here. It will say "late cancel" if you are past the 24 hr mark, and "cancel" otherwise.
-Print your schedule. Check the "printer friendly" option, print, and tack to your weekly planner!
Once logged in, choose the "My Info" tab followed by "My Schedule" located in the sub tabs.

View Your Attendance History
This is a great way to check if you signed in to a class. Under the History tab, you can see every class you have taken at the studio as well as whether you Signed In or Late Canceled. If you no show to a class it will read Late Cancel.
-View any cancellations you have made by clicking on "Cancellation History" in this section. Whether early or late see it all here.
Once logged in, choose the "My Info" tab followed by "My History" located in the sub tabs.

Know Your Purchases
Unsure about a late cancellation fee? Want to know the total cost of your Toezies? Check out the "My Purchases" screen.
-See the cost of your purchase, payment method and date of transaction.

Understand Your Account
This is a great way to know when your package began, when it expires, number of classes remaining (those on the session packages), if your package is auto-renewing, and account balance .
-Those on the $199 three month package can view their entire contract start and end date. Remember you must complete this package in three consecutive months - here you can view your final expiration.
-On the same note, the $199 three month package is auto-renewing, meaning after your first three months, another three month contract is automatically placed on your account. It will always auto-renew unless you tell us to cancel it at least ten days prior to the current contract expiration.
-If you have an account debit or credit, you can view the amount here.
Once logged in, choose the "My Info" tab followed by "My Account" located in the sub tabs.

RockIt Barre
We hope you all are loving these classes and loving the new variety of trainers we have teaching them. The barre in Redondo Beach is experiencing a few set backs, but should be up soon! In the meantime, expect barre inspired classes that will still work on wrapping and tucking the muscles.

No Shoes
Please keep in mind we are a "socks studio only." No shoes are to be worn on the "workout" (rubber) floor. Redondo, your floor is being laid soon. Meanwhile, no shoes are to be worn in the workout area (from the desk to the back waiting area.)

Parking
Redondo Beach is all metered parking. The meters need to be fed seven days a week, 6 am - 6 pm. Don't forget your quarters, or you can obtain a yearly parking pass from the city for $75 - click HERE to find the form.

Lost and Found
We will be removing all of the Lost and Found items from Manhattan next week. Please take the time to look through the items. Anything not claimed will be donated or added to our closet :)

The Unknown FAQ's
Questions we get. Answers you want.

Q: I have purchased a package, but when I sign up for a class, I'm being directed to make a payment.

A: Most likely, you are trying to book backward (usually affects those on session packages or the $149 intro). Example: you have booked Tuesday as the first class of your package and now you want to book Monday. Your package activates upon taking your first class, so once you book the first class you can only book forward from that date. If you do need to book backward, cancel out existing reservations, book the class you want, then rebook the others. Too much work? Send us an email and we can fix it in no time!
If this is not the issue, there could be a problem in the way we have scheduled a class (most likely to affect those on the $199 three month). Send us an email with the date and time you are trying to book, and we will find and fix the problem.

Q: I don't want to cancel my class, I just want to switch the time, BUT I'm past the 24 hour mark. Will I still be charged?

A: Technically, yes. Even though you are still attending a class, you have held a space in the class you were scheduled, meaning no one else could sign up and the instructor will lose part of her attendance bonus.
If you need to switch, give us a call. If we can easily make the change - aka: it's the same instructor, the class isn't full, or a wait list person can take your space - then we'll make an exception. If it does affect other clients or the instructor, the late fee charge is still in effect.

Q: I accidentally signed up for the wrong class (think 6pm in Manhattan versus 6pm in Redondo) I'm already past the 24 hour mark, so how can I fix the mistake without a charge.

A: If this happens, immediately late cancel yourself out of the class and send us an email or call. Late fees do not charge automatically, so by canceling you still leave a spot available for someone else. Once you let us know, we can early cancel you from the class, and this way, no one is negatively affected. 

Q: I forgot to sign in for a class. Will I still be charged?

A: Signing in to class is the clients responsibility. Without your initials we have no way of knowing you were here or not. If you do forget to sign in, let us know as soon as possible. We will try to make the changes in the system, but only if the $25 late fee hasn't gone through the system yet. Please keep in mind that signing in for classes is extremely important, and is the client's responsibility each class.
So, don't forget to sign in and check your attendance history regularly online (see article, "Two is Better than One")

Q: I forgot my tread socks. Can I do this class barefoot?

A: Nope! We hate to be so picky, but tread socks are required for safety and sanitary reasons. You can ask if the instructor has an extra pair you can borrow, or you can purchase a new pair at the desk. Keep a set in your glove box so you are always prepared :) Men are now required to wear them, as well. Please see article below.

Q: I want to commit to three months, but I'm leaving town for a month. Can I put my membership on hold?

A: Three month memberships must be completed consecutively. However, we will offer a one-time hold for clients on this package. *We are not able to issue a hold on any other package. Please note you can only use this hold once, and 10 days is the maximum we will suspend. You must list the dates of the hold in an email to us. If you take a class during this time, your membership is no longer on hold and your one-time suspension has been used.

Q: I was charged for a late fee, but the charge date doesn't match the day I missed class. Why?

A: Late cancellation charges are not necessary ran on the same day the class was missed. Refer to your attendance history to view the day the late fee charge was intended.
Tread Socks for Men!
New Socks for Women!
Let us know how you like them

We found them. Finally a sock to fit men. We also ordered a run of women sizes to see how you all like them compared to the Toezies brand. These will be for sale in the studio.
It is a sturdier sock (more grip on the bottom) which in turn means it is a higher cost. However, we are excited to try this brand and want to know how you like them. The new brand, Stick-e Socks are now available for $20.
This also means men are now required to wear socks on the machine.
Just like with the ladies, there are no exceptions. Please be prepared to purchase at your next class, and don't forget to wear them each time you visit the studio.

Wait List Works Likes This

-If a class is full, you can still click "Sign Up Now" to be put on the Wait List.
-If you get into the class, you will receive an automatic email asking you to confirm or cancel.
-Upon receiving this email, you have six hours to respond.
-Either hit "reply" with a yes or no regarding the class, or give us a call.
-If we do not hear from you, we will cancel your space and give to the next person.

Wait list is a great option. Many people cancel out last minute. In fact, classes tend to open up the day before and day of due to last minute cancellations. Always check the live schedule online to keep up to date!

We are currently working on a section of our website entitled, "Our Faves." This section will include people we love, those we have worked with, and special discounts for RockIt Body Clients. It is also a great way to advertise your business, as well as give back to the RockIt Body community.
