JERRY LONGARZO
Jerry Longarzo currently runs the Business Affairs, Business Development and Strategy departments at BermanBraun, a television and film production and online media company founded by Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun. Prior to joining BermanBraun, Jerry has had a prominent career in both law and entertainment, beginning as a corporate attorney in New York at the law firm of Lord, Day & Lord before taking his first entertainment-related position at Rainbow Programming Holdings, Inc., the programming arm of Cablevision Systems Corp. In 1994 Jerry relocated to Southern California to open the west coast office of a then start-up cable network called The Golf Channel. In 1996, Jerry began a 10-year period with The Walt Disney Company, initially serving as the Director of Business & Legal Affairs for Disney TeleVentures, and subsequently as a Director, Vice President and eventually Senior Vice President of Business Affairs at ABC Entertainment Television Group/Touchstone Television, where he handled business affairs for prime time television series including "Home Improvement", "Felicity", "Sports Night", "My Wife and Kids", "According to Jim", "Scrubs", "Alias", "Desperate Housewives", "Grey's Anatomy", "Lost" and "Commander-in-Chief". He left Disney to run business affairs for the UPN Network weeks before the merger of UPN and The WB into The CW, and assisted with the transition. Most recently, Jerry served as the Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs, for Fox Television Studios, a division of Newscorp., where he managed the business affairs, legal affairs, scripted production, reality production and post production departments of the studio. While at Fox Jerry oversaw the development and launch of "Burn Notice", "White Collar", "Saving Grace", "The Riches", "Help Me Help You", "New Amsterdam", "The Girls Next Door" and "Kendra".
Jerry is originally from New York, and attended Georgetown University for both his undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Diana, and their three boys, Jack (9), Luke (6) and Dante (4) - and they are all avid New York Giants football fans!
