Please join us on Tuesday evening, JULY 14th,
when our special guest speaker will be:
Anthony Vultaggio
Growing up in the picturesque
fishing town of Monterey, California, Anthony Vultaggio developed a passion for
all things Italian. His father, Antonino "Nino" Vultaggio came to America in
1955 on the famed Andrea Doria. Three years later Nino returned to Sicily to
marry Chiara Sciuto.
As the youngest child of
immigrants from Mazarra del Vallo, Sicily, Anthony spoke the old dialect of
Sicilian before he learned a word of English. But that didn't stop him from
becoming an author, speaker and host of a top rated talk show in one of the
biggest markets in the nation.
In his youth, Anthony, his
sister and two older brothers participated in countless Italian festivals
including Monterey's Santa Rosalia Festival, an annual event that showcases the
beauty of the Italian culture with music and dance. At the age of 10 he began
studying the trumpet. But while his classmates were studying scales and learning
concertos, he was busy playing arias from the much-loved operas he heard at
home. Though he was offered a private scholarship to Stanford University to
study music in college, his passion for thinking and speaking prompted him to
attend UC Riverside to pursue a degree in Philosophy.
After college he began a
career in sales and marketing. Over the years he applied the lessons he learned
from his Italian heritage to his professional life. It is his ability to stir
emotion and connect with others that made him successful.
Like many Italian immigrants,
Anthony has a strong love for this country and a passion for the culture of his
roots. Anthony launched The New Thought Revolution in 2007 to share his
thoughts with his loyal fan base in Los Angeles.
Today Anthony can be heard
throughout Southern California on AM 830 KLAA every Saturday night at 10 PM
following the Angel games. He is a highly sought after speaker, and his first
book, Who Said That ... And Why Should
You Care? was released in March of this year.
Anthony and his wife Nina
have three young children, Antonino, Lilianna and Marco.
