To All:
Sorry this notice is so late. We were all set to send out our email blast regarding our February 10th meeting when our initial guest speaker called to postpone her appearance as she is tied up with the Oscars but she will visit us soon. We had four other speakers who want to come but couldn't do February.
That said, we will have a very interesting speaker on Tuesday, February 10th. His name is Alessandro Argo, film coordinator and sometime teacher from USC. He teaches Italian Cinema but puts together all the film festivals for the school which are primarily Italian films as it's his passion. He holds dual citizenship with Italy, has a Master's Degree from USC School of Cinematic Arts' Critical Studies division and is very active in the Italian community. I am waiting for his bio but at least you know now. PLEASE RSVP so we have a head count for dinner.
