Brooklyn, NY -- Building upon the success of its inaugural indoor craft market last December, the Brooklyn Lyceum will host a BROOKLYN LYCEUM CRAFTS MARKET: 'SPECIALLY FOR KIDS', featuring a full house of creative products, activities and performances for children ages 10 and under on March 14-15 from 11am-5pm.
The indoor market will showcase more than 20 local artisans selling handcrafted kids' clothing and accessories. Children will have the opportunity to experience different kinds of creativity through artisan demos, arts and craft activities by Private Picassos, facepainting and more. Jullean will also be on hand offering haircuts and braiding.
The market will also offer a toy swap to promote re-use and recycling of children's products. Parents can bring gently used toys, stuffed animals, books, DVDs, games, etc. (no clothing) to swap for other "new" items. All items left at the end of the weekend will be donated to a charitable organization.
The Lyceum is located in Park Slope, Brooklyn on 4th Avenue, right next to the Union Street subway stop for the R and M trains. For more information, visit bkcraftcentral.com.
