Greetings!
Family Promise of WNY has had a busy summer so far! Since June we have helped 7 of our families move into permanent housing and we expect our 3 current families to move into their apartments in the beginning of September. All of our families have expressed great appreciation for the support and love they receive from our volunteers and Host Sites. Our program truly relies on the kindness and goodwill of our community to help our families find a place to call HOME.

Our Family Updates
Josie & the Boys
Josie and the boys have moved into a place of their own and successfully completed the program. Andrew was excited to finish up schoo l for this school year, Marc is working towards getting his GED and looking forward to taking college classes in the future. Josie has been working very hard with several agencies in an effort to re-establish stability into her and her children's lives. Thanks to all the great donations we were able to furnish their apartment and supply appliances that will help them restore normalcy into their lives. The Salih Family The Salih family has settled in nicely to their new home and environment. Khalid and Daliya were able to finish the school year...and they both loved it. Abdula and Bedoor are both in the process of furthering their education and eager to start learning. The family has made many new friends in their new neighborhood and are grateful of all the help they have received along the way on their difficult journey.Molly, Dave & the Kids Dave, Molly, and the kids are all settled into their new apartme nt and enjoying the rest of their summer. Dave and Molly were very grateful for all of the diaper donations that they received to help them through the first weeks of living on their own. Molly has been back to work full time and Dave has been a full time stay at home dad watching all the little ones. The kids are growing at great speeds and Makeylah will be entering a jump start program in the next couple months. Cat & Christian Cat and Christian have been out of our program for only a couple weeks and have been doing great. Cat is back to work full time and Christian is looking forward to the start of football season and school. Although they had a bit of a rough start getting settled into their new place things have come together for them and they are grateful for all of the donations that helped to get them settled into their new place. _______________ |
