Dear CGS Parent,
The Good Shepherd
Welcome to the new calendar year - 2012!

Atrium starts back up this week after a long break.  In January, we meet this week (Jan 10/12/15) and next week (Jan 17/19/22).  Schedule for remainder of year is in an article below ... just in case you got a new 'fridge calendar for Christmas!

This week, Levels 1 and 2 consider the story of the Magi.  A reflection on that story was given in our December newsletter, and you can read it in the newsletter archives.

This week and next, Level 3 children (especially those in their first year of Level 3 since we present this every year) will read and discuss Creation accounts from the book of Genesis.  This is a series presentation, and the richness of the second week is much compromised if the child is absent the first week.  If you cannot attend your day this week, please consider coming another day or contact Lina Hilko ([email protected]) for ways you can work self-study with your child so he or she is caught up for next week.  I will be sending a separate newsletter about Creation just to Level 3 over the next day or so.

Peace,

Lina Hilko, Editor
