Sunday, March 11 is Commitment Sunday and our theme is Celebrating Community - Responding to God.  Join us immediately following the Commitment Service for a BBQ hosted by a designated donation.  Please bring your favorite side dish to share.  Deacons will host your table and Elders will be "at your service".  RSVP by calling your Deacon, the church office (916-983-4648) or click here to sign up online.  Nursery Care provided by appointment only.  Our celebration won't be complete without you!

MEXICO M2012 Experience - Spanish Bible Fundraiser

The Journey Church Mexico Outreach Team would like your help in providing Spanish Bibles to the young children, teens and adults that participate in the VBS programs during Easter break. We serve three churches (Bethel, Eben-Ezer and Buen Samaritano) in Louise B. Sanchez, Mexico.

 

Our first goal is to raise $320 to purchase 160 Children's New Testament Bibles ($2 each) for the children 12 years and under.

 

Our second goal is to raise $500 to purchase New Testament Bibles (with Psalms and Proverbs) ($5 each) for the teens and adults.

 

Please Note: We would like to collect all the donations by Sunday, March 11th so we will have the bibles on hand when we leave Saturday, March 31st.

Praying HandsPraying for and with those with illness, needs, praise, support, travel, charities and other requests. Our JC Prayer Chain is always available for prayer requests. See the back of the bulletin for contacts. Prayer requests may also be made on the attendance pads or prayer cards found in the church pews. You can also contact your Deacon or the church office (select option 6) to leave your prayer request. If you wish to participate in prayer for others, please contact Alice Churchill, Jim Landua or Patty Jones.
