Prayer Ministry
Praying for and with those with illness, needs, praise, support, travel, charities and other requests. Our JC Prayer Chain is always available for prayer requests.
Prayer requests may also be made on the attendance pads or prayer cards found in the pews. Place the prayer card in the offering plate or hand it to an usher as you leave. You can also dial the church office and select extension #49 to leave your prayer request.
If you wish to participate in prayer for others, please contact Helene Croucher, Jim Landua or Brenda Wood.

BUILDING THE TEAM: SUPPORTING LOCAL WORKERS
About four months ago some of the local staff and I rented a house together for an office, housing, meetings and hos-pitality. Having this place to be together has helped us form a stronger team. One woman has moved in to work with us now that there is a place she can afford to live. For many years she worked in Malaysia with overseas NV workers. She did a Family Ministry School last year and now wants to develop work with prostitutes and female drug users here. She has many connections in local fellowships and is often in-vited to teach women, children and youth. She is a woman of prayer who is well respected and has boundless energy. I'd like to see her have a little bit of monthly support as well. Only $50 a month would pay her rent, for example. If you would like to learn more about this type of opportunity to support our work through small amounts of monthly support, contact Evelyn Weick, 916-933-2980, Mission Chair, for more information. |
