Prayer Ministry

Praying Hands

Praying for and with those with illness, needs, praise, support, travel, charities and other requests. Our JC Prayer Chain is always available for prayer requests.

Prayer requests may also be made on the attendance pads or prayer cards found in the pews. Place the prayer card in the offering plate or hand it to an usher as you leave. You can also dial the church office and select extension #49 to leave your prayer request.

If you wish to participate in prayer for others, please contact Helene Croucher, Jim Landua or Brenda Wood.

MISSION CORNER

VBS HELPS COMMUNITY KIDS

For those of you who may not know, our VBS children always have a mission focus. They bring items to share with Twin Lakes Food Bank and Powerhouse Ministries. It is always so exciting to see their eagerness to bring their items up to the front each morning. This year for TLFB they brought school backpacks on Tuesday, socks and undies on Wednesday. For Powerhouse they shared one of their favorite books on Thursday to help begin a children's library for the Transition House and on Friday they brought toilet paper for the Transition House. It is with joy that we see them begin to learn how to give to others in need. Both TLFB and Powerhouse are always so appreciative of this support to them and the Mission Committee is so pleased to see how Journey Church VBS incorporates Mission into their program.
