Archery Practice - Time to Double Down

As a young man who was fascinated by archery I could always find the time to shoot my bow. It did not matter the time of year or the weather outside I just loved shooting. This eventually led me to shooting competitively in the summer months as a teenager. Many weekends were spent with buddies piled up in pick-up trucks or mother's vans headed to 3D shoots around the state. We often talk about deer crossing creeks in certain spots and setting up our ambush spot somewhere on either side of the creek. Getting Stand Locations Finished |
As the Illinois whitetail deer hunting season is getting close and some state's hunting season are opening in a couple of days. It is time to make sure your stands are up and ready. By in and ready I don't mean "yeah they are still in the same tree I hunted them in last year so it should be fine". Safety and shooting lanes need to be checked before opening morning in the stand>>>. |
