Grand Central Trolley Hop In the News.... Trolley Hop lets you eat and ride
Why drive when you can "hop?" The Grand Central Trolley Hop lets riders relax and hop from one dining experience to the next throughout the Grand Central District and downtown St. Petersburg. Transportation Director Eric Carlson joined Good Day to lay out the details of the Trolley Hop while Chef Chris from The Queens Head Eurobar prepared a delectable dish.

Congratulations
A star studded evening for Ekerd College as students & Grand Central District's past president Mona Burrows were recognized for their many projects. They have all helped behind the scenes making a difference in Grand Central.
Several projects that they participated in were the clean up days, the painting of the GCD monuments, painting of the convenient store, & mulching in our district.
The evening included being recognized by Dr. Goliath Davis, Dr. Eastman of Ekerd college, Mayor Bill Foster, Mr. Donlan CEO of Progress Energy & Shrimatee Ojah-Maharaj of St. Petersburg Business assitance program. Our thanks to all including Tyna Middleton and students: David Johnson, Jade Gilliespie, Savannah & Sophia for all of their help with these projects!

Grand Central District is finishing up one other project next month. Look for the metal "Welcoming Monument" located under the bridge on Central avenue to stand much straighter. Mr. Bruno Bongo will be fixing our monument that someone struck quite a while ago!
