The Wiyos in concert
Sunday, November 8th at 6pm
$15 in advance / $20 week prior
Dazzling musicianship & mind-blowing shows have earned The Wiyos a spot as the opening act for this summer's Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Mellencamp tour. This exciting Brooklyn-based quartet draws on old blues, hillbilly swing, ragtime, jug-band music & the comedy of vaudeville-era performers. A thoroughly entertaining act that features stand-up bass, lap steel, acoustic guitars, banjo, uke, harmonica, washboard & kazoo. They bring "exuberance & maverick intensity to these vintage styles." --- The New Yorker. This is going to be one fun show!
Stacey Earle & Mark Stuart
The "Drive Her 'til She Drops Tour"
Saturday, November 21st at 8:00pm
$18 in advance / $23 week prior
Stacey and Mark return to Craftsman House on their final tour together. Their first show was magical. After the amp blew on the 3rd song in, the audience shifted their chairs closer into an intimate semi-circle. Stacey & Mark proceeded to wander through the room as they sang & played two wonderful sets.
Armed with clever acoustic guitar interplay, autobiographical songwriting, lovely harmonies, and humorous storytelling, this couple captivates your attention from the first moment they are onstage. Both are veteran Dukes (of Steve Earle and the Dukes) and typically play over 170 shows a year.
