Grand Central District Association Press Release
Clothing swap to give leftover clothes to charity.
St. Petersburg, FL- September 3, 2009-

This Sunday, September 6, from 11am-3pm the Grand Central Green Market and Street Fair is working with Localshops1.com to bring to the community a children's clothing swap.  Bring your gently used clothes that the kids no longer wear and you can swap them out for other gently used clothes that someone else brought to exchange.  We are also accepting adults gently used clothes, shoes, purses and belts for the clothing swap.  Any left-over children's clothes will be donated to Clothes to Kids, a local charity that provides new and quality used clothing to low-income, school-age children in Pinellas County, free of charge.

During the clothing swap, Grand Central District will be having their monthly Green Market and Street Fair from 11am-3pm, 2400-2500 Central Avenue. There will be over 50 vendors celebrating an "End of Summer Bash" with sales, a BBQ, and a lot more.  Patrons can take advantage of the vendors' end of summer clear-outs.
