5th Annual Craftsman House Pot Roast - charity firing & pottery raffle |
St. Petersburg, FL - The 5th annual Craftsman House Pot Roast will take place on September 12th at 4pm. Many local potters donate work to fill the kiln for this firing. After firing, the kiln is unloaded while the pots are still warm. The work is then raffled off. During the raffle pot roast & veggie stew will be served free with the purchase of any bowl & free beverage with any tumbler purchase.
Proceeds go to the Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF), which is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to sustaining the careers of craft artists during the aftermath of emergencies such as fire, hurricanes, theft, or illness
September starts "A Season for CERF". Galleries, artists and online marketplaces work as a community to fundraise and conduct outreach for CERF nationwide every Fall. For more information on CERF visit: www.craftemergency.org
Craftsman House is located at 2955 Central Avenue in the Grand Central District of St. Petersburg. The Craftsman House Pot Roast has raised over $1000 for CERF each of the past three years.
