Green Market & Street Fair
St. Petersburg, FL- August 12, 2009- Grand Central District has restructured its Sunday Market. It now takes place the first Sunday of every month from 11am-3pm, the next one coming up September 6. Grand Central will be celebrating an "End of Summer Bash" with sales, a BBQ, and much more. Once again they will be featuring the African Drum Group, Repercussion. The streets of the Grand Central Green Market will be filled with beats with a tribal flair.
This month the Grand Central Green Market and Street Fair is working with Localshops1.com to bring to the community a children's clothing swap. Bring your gently used clothes the kids no longer wear and you can swap them out for other gently used clothes that someone else brought to exchange. We are also accepting adults gently used clothes, shoes, purses and belts for the clothing swap. Any clothes left over will be donated to a charity that is to be determined. The Grand Central Green Market and Street Fair is a place for local farmers, vendors and crafters to sell their wares while drawing residents and visitors to the Eclectic Grand Central area.
