This walking tour starts off on the corner of Central Avenue & 2nd Street, then travels through the downtown waterfront. You will learn about the history & future of our area as you walk through the country's largest public waterfront park system. Board a trolley west to the Craftsman House Gallery. After a brief history of our historic 1918 property, the tour continues through one of the country's premier bungalow neighborhoods - Historic Kenwood. One of the bungalows will be open for viewing. Then return to Craftsman House for a bite to eat before taking the trolley back to the waterfront.
Loving Day Celebration

Loving Day celebrates Loving vs. Virginia, the landmark 1967 Supreme Court decision that legalized interracial marriage in the United States. Loving Day's mission is to fight prejudice through education & to build a sense of community among people who engage in meaningful interracial and intercultural relationships.
Craftsman House will have special Loving Day items on our menu, with special treats for all interracial couples.
Downtown Arts Association's Gallery Walk

Start off your gallery walk at Craftsman House, then head east towards the waterfront to visit additional galleries. Participating galleries extend their hours the second Saturday of each month for gallery walk. Call us at (727) 323-ARTS for a full listing of participating galleries.

Ferron in Concert

The legendary Ferron will perform a summer solstice show in the intimate Craftsman House listening room. Her beautiful voice will fill the room. Over the past 30 years Ferron has influenced musicians such as The Indigo Girls, Ani DiFranco, Shawn Colvin, Tracy Chapman and countless others. Rolling Stone calls her "a cultural hero".

The Craftsman House porch is the best place to watch the St. Pete Pride Promenade as it cuts across 30th Street & turns the corner at Craftsman House to head down Central Avenue. Enjoy a delicious champagne brunch with a great crowd. Always a fun time.
