The Peddler's Market in Grand Central District is getting a visit from "HOT"-Helping Our Troops.
St. Pete's H.O.T was formed in 2007 by Jodi Davis, Janis Upham & Lynn Hawkins of St. Petersburg, FL. They are setting St. Pete on FIRE for our deployed men & woman of the US Military.
"HOT" sends care packages and letters of love, they are a drop off for www.cellphonesforsoldiers.com, coordinate farewell and welcome home ceremonies for units deploying or returning and any other requests / needs or wants for veterans or active military in the community. All efforts are focused on military that has deployed from a local branch (Army AR-MEDCOM, Coast Guard, etc). They also adopt immediate family members of St. Pete residence / business owners.
Please visit the Peddler's Market on Sunday, April 19 from 11am to 3pm to meet our visitors from "HOT".
