Thank you for visiting the Blue Rooster, for sharing it with your friends and for helping to make it the success it is today. You, our supporters, are the best - we continue to grow and improve with your feedback, ideas and continued patronage. During calendar year 2009, you have contributed not only to our business growth but also to The Mercer St Food Bank through donations made at the register of The Blue Rooster. We are proud to tell you that through Dec 11th, you have provided over $450.00 to the food bank with "at the register" donations. Now we'd like to offer two additional channels to send funds to The Mercer St. Food Bank: Afternoon Tea & Gift Baskets ( detail below) Happy Holidays to you all & we look forward to seeing you @ The BR soon, Bob and Karen Finigan

Plan a Holiday Tea for December
|
|
- a celebration, a hiatus, a wind-down or warm up; mostly a time to visit with friends and enjoy great tea, great food & great service!
Mon - Sat, from 3m - 5 pm (pls call to reserve a day or 2 ahead) - $20/person
We will send 10% of the price of your tea to Mercer St.; this means each person in your party will make a $2.00 donation by joining you for afternoon tea.
****We have a wonderful new selection of petit fours - chocolate, almond, holiday themed, and beautiful gift package sweets - make a date with special friends for tea @ The Blue Rooster in December.

- coffee, tea, the best breads, olive oil & balsamic vinegar, jam, chocolates, dips, great cookies, mugs, tea pots & cozies, posters, notecards, a gift certificate, something for the dog(s) in your life-- all that you know & love in the Blue Rooster is available to be lovingly packed into a gift basket. We will deliver if you wish - local or by post
We
will send 10% of the price of your gift basket to Mercer St. Food Bank. You create the basket with just what you want to give - from $15 - $100+

New Year's Eve

Two seatings: 5pm - 6 pm & 8pm - 8:30pm, all reserved
6 courses, each a wonderful taste sensation, created to complement each of the others:
· Stuffed cremini mushroom duo, w/red pepper coulee & basil oil
o Sausage
o Spinach & cheese
· Potato Leek Soup topped with crème fresh & caviar
· Butternut Squash Risotto Timbale with petit peas
· Choice of main, served with the best fresh green vegetable:
o Lobster Medallions' with a Chanterelle Brandy Sauce
o Tenderloin of Beef Topped with Foie Gras and Truffle with a Merlot Reduction served on brioche toast
o Breast Of Duck w/ Braised Bacon and Cabbage with a Chock Cherry Sauce
· Tri-Color Salad w/ Red Wine Poached Pear, gorgonzola, candied walnuts & a vanilla bean vinaigrette
· Choice of:
o Apple Galette
o Lemon Tart
o Chocolate Ganache Tart
· Espresso, French Press or Tea
