This week, practice separating out the facts of a stressful situation from your interpretations of that situation.  After you make your knee-jerk interpretation, step back and see if you can come up with another interpretation. Could someone else not take that situation personally?  If it was someone else that you were interacting with, would you have responded differently?  Imagine if you were an outsider looking in with no knowledge about the situation... might their interpretation be different?   In order to keep your heart open, you have to first realize that the situation and your emotions are actually separate.  You have to step outside of your paradigm and realize your emotions are yours and yours alone.  No one can create them but you... No one can change them but you.  Enjoy the adventure.
