Surrender vs. Defeat

 

Eckhart Tolle calls it The Power of Now.  Byron Katie calls it Loving What Is. I often refer to it as Complete Acceptance.  And in millions of books, teachings and philosophies, it is often referred to as Surrender. Regardless of the name used, this powerful spiritual practice is consistently deemed one of the most necessary steps on the path to enlightenment. During your meditations this week, fan your inner flame of light.  Just like a wild fire, fan it with love until it rushes through every aspect of your physical, emotional and astral body.  Let it fill you so full that it has to burst out in every direction.  Let it reach out to every corner of this world and beyond.  Feel the joy of expansion as you become one with everything around you.  This is your natural state.  This is the space where the creative nature of the universe can play through you.
