Arrester Condition Monitoring

ArresterFActs036

As the demand for more reliable electric service continues to rise, the demand to reduce outages through better system monitoring rises with it. Since arresters are surge protective devices and they mitigate the effect of potential outage causing events, they are often considered when seeking ways to reduce outages. For a vast majority of its life, an arrester behaves as an insulator with low levels of leakage current over the insulating surface and very low levels of leakage current through the zinc oxide disk material. Monitoring this leakage current is an important step that can be taken to understand the health of the arrester.
eConsulting on Surge Protection

eConsulting Logo

We have all been at that point in a project where if we could just talk to an expert and ask a few questions we could resolve the issue and move ahead; or maybe a more in-depth discussion with someone who understands the objective is what is needed to ensure we are on the right track. In either case the project dead line is approaching fast and we can't afford to wait. After thirty years in industry we have been there and understand the need for quick and accurate answers without the hassle of a long approval process. ArresterWorks' has designed an eConsulting service to make getting the answers quick and easy.

Our services start at $89 USD for up to 30 minutes of discussion and is payable by credit card. For information       More......
