Preservation Pennsylvania has launched a Facebook contest to highlight the importance of preserving historic windows and doors.

Preserve (and own) the Mead Avenue Bridge

PennDOT and the Crawford County Commissioners are seeking an interested party to acquire the National Register-eligibl e Mead Avenue Bridge.
The Mead Avenue Bridge has the unique distinction of being a bridge within a bridge: a 1912 Baltimore truss (outside) welded to an 1871 Double Whipple truss (inside). The County will transfer ownership of this bridge to any party who can relocate, restore and reuse the structure.
