Last chance to save the historic B.F. Jones Cottage in Cresson, PA
Unless
the Cresson Area Historical Association (CAHA) can raise $150,000 by July
2010, the B. F. Jones Cottage will be demolished. This is the LAST
CHANCE to save this building--one of the grandest surviving elements of

Pennsylvania has joined with the National Trust for Historic
Preservation, the Civil War Preservation Trust, the
National Parks Conservation Association and No Casino Gettysburg to protest the recent proposal
to build
a casino less than a mile from the National Park. This Sunday, the
coalition
will host a candlelight vigil and Civil War musical selections from the
2nd
South Carolina String Band.
