Due to the ongoing Commonwealth budget crisis the 2009 Statewide Conference on Heritage (Heritage Partnerships XXXI and Byways to the Past X, May 19th-22nd, 2009), has been moved from Gettysburg to Harrisburg.
Relocating the conference to Harrisburg will help us to reduce travel expenses and control rental costs by utilizing the facilities at the Keystone building for a majority of conference sessions.
About the 2009 Statewide Conference on Heritage... The Statewide Conference on Heritage, to be held on May 19th-22nd, will feature workshops, sessions and speakers from the historic preservation, archaeological, heritage tourism, transportation, legislative, and planning communities, including a number of nationally known speakers and subjects of state, regional and national importance.
