What's happening with the library expansion project?
At its regular monthly May meeting, The Scranton Library Board of Trustees voted to set as a target date Tuesday, November 4th, the national Election Day, as the date for a town-wide referendum on the Library Expansion Project.

The library has just purchased new travel DVDs from Globe Trekker, including films about:
Iran, Cambodia, Indian Ocean Islands, China, Cameroon, Hong Kong & Taiwan, Tahiti & Samoa, Indonesia, Russia, Vietnam, Beijing City, Chile & Easter Island, Istanbul, Middle East, Central America, and Brazil.
So if it costs too much to get there, just pretend! |
