The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is looking for people affected by cardiomyopathy to join two workshops - one looking at issues around internal defibrillators (ICDs) with biventricular pacemakers (London, June 7th) and the other looking at the use of ivabradine for the treatment of heart failure (Manchester, June 27th). Forty CMA supporters ran the London Marathon earlier this month, providing the single biggest source of the charity's income.
