Promote CMA medical conference

Medical conference prog 2011Help promote our medical conference by giving details to your cardiologist. The 2010 conference, on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, is in London on Friday, May 20th. The programme is here or call the office on 01494 791224.  

  Cardiomyopathy nurse specialist Rachel Walker has helped set up a course for nurses, nurse specialists and cardiac practitioners on arrhythmias and inherited heart conditions. Tell your team. It is on June 13th, Northern General Hospital, Sheffield. 

Help us fill our runners' places

British London 10kThe CMA is looking for 10k runners for the Bupa London 10,000 on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30th, and the British London 10k on Sunday, July 10th.  The London 10,000 is based on the 2012 Olympic marathon route and the London 10k takes in similar scenic sights. Collector's dolls house for sale

Dolls house

Do you know of anyone who would like to by a collector's dolls house in immaculate condition.

The Tudor-style house was donated by a supporter and offers of around £2,200 are being sought. It is 1.179m high, has seven rooms on three floors and is lit, decorated and furnished. A similar house fetched £3,200 in the The Dolls House Emporium catalogue.

Cardiomyopathy support groups
HandsOur support groups give those affected by cardiomyopathy the chance to find out more about the condition and meet others who are affected. Family members and friends are welcome .

The Kent Cardiomyopathy Support Group,
Wednesday, April 20th, 7.30pm,Kingswood Surgery, Kingswood Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN2 4UH.
The Cornwall Cardiomyopathy Support Group, Saturday, April 30th, 2pm, a social at Trickys, Tolgus Mount, Redruth, TR15 3TA.
The Yorkshire Cardiomyopathy Support Group, Tuesday, May 3rd, 7.30pm, St John the Divine Church Hall, Denby Dale Road West, Calder Grove, West Yorks, WF4 3FG
The North London Cardiomyopathy Support Group, Saturday, May 7th, 3pm at the Day Hospital, Finchley Memorial Hospital, Granveille Road, N12 0JE.

Supporters of all ages can take part in Big Fun Runs  in 22 safe and scenic places in towns and cities across England and Scotland this summer. The events are designed to be fun rather than competitive.
