Issue 54                                                                                                    February 25th, 2011
We need your feedback on the NHS

NHS services

If you or your family members with cardiomyopathy are affected by changes taking place in the NHS, do let us know. We are keen to hear from anyone who feels their care is being affected by funding changes. We also want to hear what parents of affected children think about the proposed closure of some children's surgery centres in the UK. Email Sarah Dennis

Regional commitees

The CMA wants to set up regional committees to gain more information about cardiomyopathy services in the UK. The committees will also provide local support to the CMA activities in their areas. To learn more about this new initiative please contact CMA Chief Executive Robert Hall

Feedback on nurse specialist services

The independent research organisation PatientView is seeking patients' opinions on the care they have received in the last year from nurse specialists and nurse consultants, and ideas about measuring their performance. Interested patients will be invited to focus groups in London. Email Lynne Currie

You received this email because we don't know if you are a UK taxpayer or not.  If you are, we can claim 28 per cent extra from the Government on donations you make.  We also need to know if you are not a UK taxpayer so that we don't ask you again.  Click Gift Aid to let us know.  Thank you to those who have already responded.
