Seasons Greetings!
Howard Manley, Senior VP REDEV Properties
|
It seems like only a month ago I sent out Xmas and Holiday greetings to everyone, time sure flies when your having fun at the job. Anyway may I take this opportunity to wish one and all a joyous Xmas and a prosperous New year.
Investing your hard earned money is very important and something everyone should take very serious. The last year has seen some difficult times for individuals and a lot of companies, bankruptcy, insolvency and in some case fraud. If I am repeating myself I do it for a reason , as I have said before: 1) Does the company you are considering investing with have the necessary experience and management skills to ensure what the say they are going to do? 2) Do your initial funds go into a lawyers trust account (with interest) to ensure a proper and legal closing? 3) And very important is there a third party appointed to disburse and handle all funds? And is there a qualified and licensed property manager looking after everyone's interest? 4) Is there a third party accounting firm compiling the statements and issuing proper Tax (T5013'S) returns?
Redev specializes in Commercial Real Estate, mainly retail. We are experienced and have the knowledge and background to ensure solid management of your interests. NB. Be very careful of companies that offer multiple investments you have all heard the phrase: "JACK OF ALL TRADES MASTER OF NONE". These companies are usually in for a quick buck, and at your expense.
Thank you again for a very successful and interesting year. Sturgeon Plaza 2 was a complete sellout plus. We will be introducing another exciting project in early 2010. Remember RRSP season is around the corner, ask your representative for information on our plan. Howard Manley Senior VP REDEV Properties howardmanley@shaw.ca |

Amazing, unbelievable and unreal.
Drive around Toronto and you will see all these sold houses signs on the front lawns. The market has gone crazy and it doesn't seem to matter whether it is worth 500,000 or 4 million dollars these dwellings are selling. So what's up? I saw a building site today for a house with a basement so deep and so big it shocked me. The size was huge and I couldn't believe my eyes. Yes it is true that the houses in that area sell for more than 5 million and another house in the neighbourhood is selling for 16 million. Tear down houses for 2.8 million if the lot is decent.
What a ride...whoo-hoo.
Me? I hate the ups and downs, I like cash flow. I know that if I am patient I will eventually get ahead of the game. I saw too many guys chase the big dream, or invest a ton in China's stock market, and some actually win, and some actually lose. I guess, to thine own self be true. Go to Vegas, or Macau and go gamble yourself silly.
Howard and I have been around a long time. We are turtles and proud of it. Slow and steady wins the race I say. Bug Howard, and see what he's doing these days. He's at 4036304544, or email him at a howardmanley@shaw.ca, or write me at richardc@redevgroup.ca.
Yours truly, Richard Crenian President Redev Properties Ltd.
