2010-2011 Calendar Voting Options

Exercise your right to vote!

YISD has opened voting for the 2010-2011 Academic Year Calendar and YTA is your resource for making and informed decision.
This year, there is only one major difference in the calendars, which is the preference for Spring Break.
  • Option A - Spring Break week of April 2-6 which is line with surrounding districts, UTEP & EPCC and runs into Easter, which then provides Easter Monday as a Holiday for a total of 10 days, but provides no holidays in March.


  • Option B - Spring Break is the Week of March 12-16, with April 6 as District Holiday. YISD Spring Break does not align with other districts in area or Higher Ed.
     


  • Option C - Spring Break is the Week of March 19-23, with April 6 as District Holiday. YISD Spring Break does not align with other districts in area or Higher Ed.
