Greetings!
I would like to thank you and congratulate you for a successful school year in Ysleta ISD. We have had some ups & downs, but as true professionals, you have remained true to your calling. We have provided the best education and learning environment for the students we serve. I have been invited to represent you in New York City in October as they announce the winner of the Broad Prize for this year. I am humbled and honored to represent you and the work you have done with the students in our community. Your hard work and dedication has put Ysleta ISD among an elite group of Districts in the Country, and I am proud at the potential of bringing home one million dollars worth of scholarship money for our students. YTA and your leadership will continue working in the summer to enhance your membership experience as we plan and develop our "Power Plan" to continue to take us to the next level as an organization. The leadership you have elected will be representing you in New Orleans at the NEA's Representative Assembly. YTA is live on " twitter". Stay up-to-date this summer with live updates on Salary Increase Proposals, Benefit Changes and other issues discussed regarding your profession at School Board Meetings this Summer, as you If you are interested in serving on any YTA council, committee, or attending state or national training events in the coming school year, please email me at noelmrc2@yahoo.com. Have a safe summer and be sure to check your email periodically for News and Events from YTA over the summer. Noel Candelaria YTA President
