| RK-WL - A Long-Range Solution for Vehicle Parking |
|
 The Radio Key® RK-WL Long Range Proximity Reader continues to be a real problem solver for parking applications, truck and commercial vehicle storage lots, for and any application where you need to read a card 2-3 feet away from the reader.
RK-WL consistantly outperforms the competition, with up to 50% better read range than similar products. RK-WL is also more energy efficient than other long range readers, using only 330 mA at 12 VDC, which reduces power supply costs. You can even power it directly from our new SK-ACP access control panel, using a 40VA DC power supply.
RK-WL works best with the RKCM rugged clamshell card, but it also gets about 20" of read range with the RKKT Keytag or the RKCI imageable ISO Card. Unlike other vehicle tags, these cards and tags have no batteries to wear out. |

Here are two exciting products for applications developers who want to harness the power and capability of e*Tag® contactless smart cards and keytags. Secura Key offers e*Tag® cards for access control applications, but the DES encrypted access control data only uses 5 out of 64 available data blocks on the 2Kbit card, meaning that almost 80% of the card remains unused. If you want to develop software applications which can read and write to the card, either of these two readers combined with our application support will enable you to use e*Tag® cards for membership, loyalty, time and attendance, logical access, cafeteria debit card, library cards and more. |
