stacy From the Editor

Welcome to the first run of our newly formatted email!  We are doing some experiments on the best mail program to use as our new site is being developed, and I really like this layout. If you get a moment, please contact us and let us know your thoughts.  Also, we are trying our best to make the new site into one that you will all love. Please take our survey at your convenience and tell us a little about your pets and yourself!

For those who were not aware, we have an entirely revamped site being developed as we speak.  The new site will include sections for Critters (Exotics), Reptiles, Birds, Fish/Ponds and Horses.  It will be even bigger and better than before, with an animated talking parrot, and easy to view navigation. I can't tell you how excited I am that PetsWeekly has done so well!  I hope that you will hang in there with us as we make the transition from old to new!  I think it will be well worth the wait!

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we've been busy with monsoons and lots of work.  Please bear with me as we sort through hundreds of emails.  I will get back to you as soon as possible.

It's summer, as you all know (particularly those of us in the Southwest), and it's time to take some precautions with pets. We've had six dogs pass away here in the last few weeks because people put them out in 110 degree heat (and lately high humidity) without water.  Folks, I can't say this enough... TAKE CARE OF YOUR PETS!  And if you have neighbors or friends who aren't taking of their pets, step up. It's just not right that any animal suffer in this severe weather.  To help things along, we've come up with a list of products that will help you keep your dogs and cats cool.  So, read on and find the best summer pet products!

As a special bonus for PetsWeekly readers, scroll to the bottom of this week's newsletter (and every one afer this) where you will find a special coupon designed JUST for our readers!  Use the savings to purchase something special for your pet, or even for someone else!  You'll find wonderful savings each week - just for our subscribers!  And if you can, forward this email on to others with our handy "forward" button at the bottom of this page.

Stacy

  1. Money is not important until it impacts your food supply.

  2. Never change your mind once you've made a decision - even if it is in your best interest.

In The News
catWe have lots of news to report on, and since we're trying to slow down our use of the old PetsWeekly site as we begin the tedious task of data transfer, we will link you directly into the actual news sources! Now,as I mentioned last week, we have had several bad things happening in Arizona.  The first is the number of pets who have died due to the heatPlease make sure your dogs, cats, birds and all other wildlife have sufficient water and shade!  The other sad thing we've had going on is the beating deaths of many ducks and geese in our parksThese poor animals are continuing to suffer and it's up to us to get involved.  If anyone has any information on who is hurting these animals, there is a $10,000 reward for you to claim - just for doing the right thing...  And here is the rest of the news:
In closing, I would like to thank you for your continued support and for making PetsWeekly a part of your life!  We are anxiously awaiting our new site, and I hope that you are as well!  Please remember to click on our links to do all of your shopping. Each of our links will take you to one of either the product you are reading about, or our sponsors pages where you will find coupons, free items and other bonuses that are only available to readers of PetsWeekly. We want to keep this site free to everyone and we can only do that if our readers support those who support us!

As an incentive, we are going to begin attaching one coupon per newsletter for the hottest products on the market!  See below for this week's coupon from PetPlanetOutfitters, and don't forget to check all of our newsletters for coupons from now on!
