I'm sitting in my sister's living room listening to the happy chatter of my two nieces teasing Draw. They want to braid his hair. What excitement so early in the morning - have I ever laughed out loud at 8am? They want to play frisbee and I'm still rubbing the sleepy bugs out of my eyes.
Today we're having a little family reunion, a cookout and lots more laughter so I'll make this newsletter short and sweet. Beautiful Sundays cloaked in sparkling blue skies and gentle summer breezes are meant for laughter, family, frolic and frisbee with just a wee smidge of whimsy.

Rules of the Road

In our little family I am the keeper of the map. When we're on a road trip I figure out the itinerary and how we're going to get from here to there using not the most expeditious route but the most scenic. I am all about the meander and enjoying the sights along the way.
Traveling through PaperWhimsy is kind of meant to take a similar course. The scenic route. Sure, I always hope that your ultimate destination is the Shoppe but there are some pretty darned nice sights that you can meander through before you get down to shopping.
Under the lovely banner at the top of the website are links that transport you to all the nooks and crannies of PaperWhimsy-land. One of my favorite nooks and the perfect starting place is Inspire. This is where you're going to get your daily dose of eye candy (eye candy is actually prescribed for every artist who enters, here). Rande Hanson, resident art chef, is always conjuring up batches of amazing eye candy and you're not gonna want to miss a single morsel.
Once your eyes are dancing with artistic vision then click on Shoppe to see what cool (and very necessary) things will help you take Rande's ideas and spin them off into something uniquely your own.
