Something whimsical's a'foot...

I'm on holiday! Blah blah blah... I'm like a broken record, but gosh darn, I'm excited. But even though I am here and you are there please journey along with me. How to "journey along"? Visit my blog. I've been eking out precious moments to post of our adventures and share some of what's been going on through photos I've taken (Day Six's tally was up to 952 - man I dig those big fat memory cards). I'd love to have you drop by and read about my adventures with Family Drawbridge and peek at a minute portion of the pics. It makes me happy when you do and I read and treasure each and every comment. Val-deri,Val-dera,

Today's newsletter is being written from the living room of Bramblings on Bramble Reed Lane in the lovely countryside of the village of Matfield while I sip my lemon and ginger tea and gaze out the glass doors to the garden beyond. How very English is that? This makes for a very happy writer and she's about to make you (hopefully) very happy, too. Please do read on! Gale xox

Inspiration Galore!
|
Rande Hanson has been ever and always at her art table conjuring up so much amazing art I am filled to the brim with inspiration. I am sure she is going to inspire you, too!
The little journals she decorated, above, are ready to pen your most whimsical thoughts or to give to someone you know who loves to write. By clicking the photo, above, you'll be transported to her post which provides info on what she used to create these little journals. The houses are from a new digi sheet I listed just before I left on my holiday.

The tags, above, are another wonderful and easy project using some of the new K&Co tags I've now got in the shoppe. I'm very excited about getting K&Co products and I hope they provide you with lots of art-starts, as they have done here with dear Rande. She sure knows how to do up those Bailey Tags something proud. Click on the photo, above, to get Rande's details on her sweet tags.
Not only is today Happy Father's Day it is also the first day of summer! And with summer comes the trips to the beach and picnicking and all sorts of wonderful, leisurely, sun-loving activities. While you're out and about, keep your eyes peeled for little bits that would make wonderful additions to your art: feathers, shells, pretty pebbles... even the travel and event brochures you pick up for free would provide a neat touch.
Rande's Imagine piece, above, is certain to become a tender reminder of a wonderful summer of gathering shells along the beach. Clicking on the photo will take you to her post on the Inspiration blog where she provides some information about creating your own Summer Remembrance piece.
For more of Rande's brilliant inspirations just click on Inspire at the top of the PaperWhimsy website. If you have been feeling in a rut, Rande is going to propel you head first into a creative frenzy!
