Tim Holtz Goodies...

 ...are finally in the shoppe... be still my beating heart. I selected my particular favorites of his new goods and hope you think I've chosen well. The Foliage Brads and Ornate Plates are simply mahhhhvelous and the new Mini Masks: Flourish & Crowns and Florets are the perfect size for most art projects (including the beloved ACEO/ATC sizes).

New Collage Sheet Inspirations
|
 Several new collage sheets have been added, both regular and digital download sheets, digisheets as I like to call them. Lots of color, pretty faces in larger portrait styles and one of my new favorites: book covers.
The new book cover sheets were created as ACEO/ATC and 3-1/2"x5" backgrounds but I realized, being the book lover that I am, these would also make amazing wee little books.
Easily assembled with a bit of book binding tape (or gaffer's tape, sports tape or fabric that you've run through a Xyron) you can create a lovely custom folder to display your prized art or photos, or create a sweet little book to journal in.
Simply print the sheets, mount the book covers on heavy weight stock or light weight mat board (I used the cardboard inserts found for FREE in photo paper packages), cover the backs with pretty papers of your choice, lay the mounted covers, evenly on the tape giving yourself about a 1/8"-1/4" gap between the covers (or wider depending on how many pages you're going to stitch in the book) and voila! Believe me, if I can do this you can do this.
These little books, assembled and decorated, would make very special Mother's Day gifts or gifts for dear friends. And for yourself.

New Goods from 7gypsies

 Several new treats from 7gypsies are adorning the shelves of the PaperWhimsy shoppe. To the left, a sneak peek at their lovely pink velvet posies. Those you'll find in the Pretty Petals section of the shoppe.
Also in are some very nifty rub-ons - those you'll find in the Necessities area of the shoppe (and New Goodies, of course). Hudson Valley Rubbings and Monograms Rubbings.
Along with the rub-ons are the Savannah Stickers, Gypsy Transparencies (see below), the Moulin Journal Kit and the Savannah 8"x8" paper packs.

Other Bits of Interest

 A quick shout out for the odds and ends bits that are new or back in...
Several of the rusty favorites are back, including tin tiles, rusty vines and more rusty decorative corners. And rusty hearts! What's love without a rusty old heart, eh? You'll find them all, and more, in Rusty Stuff.
New in the shoppe are Crackle Accents and Matte Accents from Ranger. Rande's been having a ball playing with the Crackle Accents - heck even I gave it a try and it works! Great for adding crackle textures to your images. The Matte Accents is a dimensional medium/glue just like her cousin, Glossy, but she's matte, of course. You'll find these goos in Glues & Goos.
