Fear Vs Love
Week 23 2012
fearvlove
Greetings!

Today's video asks us, what is our biggest fear? And what is our greatest dream? Two questions that once thought about go some way to defining who we are as individuals and as a collective, what our story is and where we want to be heading in life, for only one thing truly lies behind all our dreams and that is love itself.

I believe that we are entering a period in our journey where a shift in consciousness is inevitable, moving ourselves away from this position of fear that we find ourselves in to one that ultimately is more loving. For fear restricts progress and evolution, whereas love simply encourages it.

The only problem is that for the majority of us we have been conditioned to live in a manner that supports fear rather than love, whether we are conscious of this or not. In fact the majority of society leans towards it, with whole industries being built upon it, thriving upon our insecurities rather than truly supporting our dreams, our love for each other and the planet as a whole.

Fear keeps us separated as individuals, love brings us closer together as communities. If the recent Diamond Jubilee celebrations are anything to go by then they start to show us what is possible when we join together through the power of love and how much more unified we can become when we resort to a gift economy for the benefit of everyone, rather than one geared towards solely making a profit for certain individuals.

A great many changes are needed within our society to become more loving again to see what some of them may entail please read the following article.

Have a great fortnight.

Much love.

Fear Vs Love
The Journey We All Have To Make To Regain Happiness
feartightrope
Once upon a time we all lived within a consciousness of love and abundance. We existed within our tribe in the jungle or on the plain where everything that we needed was held within the people that surrounded us, within our own community.

If we failed when we went out hunting or in gathering enough fruit to be eaten for dinner our insurance lay in our brother, auntie or other tribe member finding plenty elsewhere for us to eat. Our survival was guaranteed by the collective efforts of the society we lived in. The tribe would care for us if we were unwell and look after us as we grew into old age. Any new hunting methods and societal innovations were immediately shared with all members so all could benefit, learn from and continue to evolve forward, be that in stalking a deer or building a house. All operated out of a position of love.

Sadly in modern day society practically all this ideology has been replaced by financial transactions and a mentality that if we are to live a sustainable life we are solely responsible for achieving this. We live in fear of not having enough and experience largely separated lives. If we fail in our hunting or gathering, we know we will go hungry or lose our shelter unless we perhaps beg, borrow or steal from others. If we find a unique way of hunting, we protect it and sue others that try and copy what we have learned. Our sole occupation seems to be geared towards building our own castle and then keeping it safe from everyone that exists around us. Entire industries exist upon the protection of the individual, whether that is within insurance, the legal profession, security, pensions, finance or many other industries besides. We have lost our connection with one another and now live in a constant atmosphere of scarcity.

So what must we do to regain our ability to truly love our brother and sister again? The barriers and walls will have to come down between us, dismantling our castles in the process. We will have to learn to be more open with the people around us, speak our truths, collectively come together to surmount the challenges we are now being faced with, learn to converse again in a more loving way, resolving conflicts as we go, unlocking ourselves from the cages and glass houses we find ourselves within, sharing our bounty and gifts with one another more freely, bringing forward our own authentic leadership for the benefit of the greater good.

All aspects of society will have to evolve, all industry and business will have to look at a new way of working that favours the community rather than specific individuals. New communities will have to be built, innovative ways of sharing food sourced and a way of existing established that deals with collective well being rather than that of the individual, be that in the provision of more freely available energy, water or love.

My biggest fear is being a part of a community that is at war with itself and the planet due to a never ending feeling of scarcity and a lack of understanding as to what is truly needed to live in a world without such resources as oil, existing in fear of everyone and everything.

My greatest dream is to create a community where abundance has been restored where we have re-established the right relationship again with ourselves, others and the planet and can live with energy, food, water and love all being freely available to us.

If you wish to share in a similar dream and don't know quite how to start establishing it why not contact me now. If you have comments of your own to contribute why not visit my blog to carry on the conversation. Otherwise see you next time Sx.
