Greetings!
This time last week we were all celebrating the Royal Wedding. Apart from the festivities themselves, it proved very inspirational for a great many people, giving everyone hope beyond the troubled times we have experienced recently.
In essence where that hope and inspiration came from I believe is in witnessing the creation of right relationship, whether that is where we all aspire to have a similar relationship to that of William and Kate's, or in relationship to ourselves, others, within our life and work or that of the planet too.
Right relationship that is very well summed up by the Bishop Of London in his wedding day address. Whatever faith you do or don't belong to, the overall message was one of hope, being true to one self and allowing others to have the space to be true to themselves too. Things I certainly would advocate through my own coaching and well worth a view again by clicking here.
For more on creating the right relationship with yourself, within your life and business, please read on.
Kind regards

Right Relationship
For ourselves, with others and with our planet!
Where does right relationship come from? Well firstly it comes from understanding ourselves better, which helps us in turn understand others better also.
With tools like the Enneagram we can begin to realise that the way that we are conditioned in childhood basically creates 9 different personality types within us all. Realising that we all react differently to situations because of our conditioning can be very empowering as it helps us acknowledge why we are like we are and how others are like they are too.
By bringing awareness to how everyone reacts differently to things we can bring compassion to our relationships, be that in our closest relationship, within our work or in life in general. It is the same with our skill sets. As soon as we can appreciate the difference between ourselves then we start to stop molding people to how we want them to be and just allow them to live.
It is similar with Transactional Analysis (TA). According to Dr Eric Byrne who established TA in the 1950's there are only 3 basic ways of communicating with each other and we will do so in either a Parent, Adult or Child way, whether we are parents or children ourselves or not is irrelevant we can adopt any of these roles in whatever relationship we encounter but again how we do so is likely to be heavily influenced by how we have been conditioned in our childhood.
If choosing the parental role we can come across as either being very critical, controlling or spoiling of others and naturally will create a child like response in the other party we are communicating with which will almost certainly manifest itself in anger, sadness, disengagement or tantrums, the parent and child roles in general bring unhappy people. Our challenge is to communicate in a more adult fashion which means being more supportive, expressing our own feelings about things, being more present and authentic, this is where the happiness lies.
As with people as with our planet, for the last few millennia we have adopted either a parent or child role with the Earth itself, kidding ourselves in our attempt to control it, or throwing a tantrum if we can't continue to take all the resources we want from its cookie jar or sweet shop. We have to learn to be adult with our planet, to be responsible and operate in harmony with it, creating the right relationship with it.
To learn more about your conditioning and how to deal with it and how it might be holding you back from all you hope to achieve in life. Why not join me on my latest Transformation Day scheduled for Saturday 2nd July, if you book by 02/06/11 you qualify for my early bird rate. I hope to see you there. Click here for more details.

Inspirational Video
 | | Royal Wedding Speech |
The Bishop of London's inspirational wedding day address gave hope for us all whether we are Christian or not. For me I like to replace the word God for Universe and Jesus Christ for 'every one of us' to better understand the message behind what he was trying to tell us all. Whatever way works for you its good to hear that a great many of us are all now singing from the same hymn sheet!
