January 2012 Convocation Meeting
Clergy, Delegates, and Alternates are all asked to attend the January convocation meetings in advance of Council 2012. These meetings are scheduled for Sunday, January 15, 2012, at the times and places listed at the right. Council 2012 Reminders
Please remember to bring your January 2012 booklet to Council! You will receive a printed copy of this booklet at the January 2012 convocation meeting. It contains most of the information you will need for the weekend's activities and business.
Also, please bring the booklets you received at the Spring and Fall Convocation meetings. You will need to refer to them during budget discussions. If you no longer have these booklets, you can find pdf files of them in the Governance section of the diocesan website (www.dioswva.org/governance/convocations.html). Look for "Materials from the 2011 Fall Convocation Meetings" and "Materials from the 2011 Spring Convocation Meetings" headings.
Please remember, too, that incidental costs, such as the cost of parking and breakfast, are not included in your Council 2012 registration fee.
Council 2012 Check-In times:
- Clergy and Spouses--Friday, January 27, from 9:30 to 10 am
- Delegates, Alternates, Guests, Visitors--Friday, January 27, from 12:30 to 3:30 pm
Council business begins at 2 pm on Friday, January 27.
The Bishop's Address to Council will take place at 2:30 pm on Friday, January 27.
The Finance Committee, Resolutions Committee, and Constitution and Canons Committee will be available at an open hearing on Friday, January 27, at 4 pm.

Augusta Convocation

Lynchburg Convocation

Christ, Roanoke
2:30-4:30 pm
As usual, in case of inclement weather, each convocation's Dean and President will decide if the meeting will be held on the snow date--Sunday, January 22. Times and places will be as listed above.
