Five years ago, we came together to create Meaningful Careers, just two guys with a shared commitment to the power of meaningful work.  We developed a community of like-minded colleagues, clients and friends which has grown exponentially.  We've been inspired by your comments and feedback and so, recently began a dialogue about "what's next" for MeaningfulCareers.com.  How do we want to move forward?  What's our next chapter?

Beginning in June we'll be introducing "MeaningfulCareers Forums," monthly 90-minute, facilitated discussions centered on focused themes and specific topics of conversation, which will cycle throughout the year.  We'll bring in writers, speakers and content specialists to enrich the discussion and dialogue - and give you plenty of resources and recommendations to stir your passions and stimulate your thinking.  

Here's a preview of the themes along with sample topics:

Going to Work: In this theme, we'll focus on the meaning of work, and investigate why some view it as a blessing, while others consider it a curse.  We'll offer up ideas and inspiration for bringing greater purpose and meaning to your work.

At Work: Here we'll explore contemporary work issues that influence your success and satisfaction on the job, with tips for building strong work relationships, managing your boss and navigating safely through political minefields.

After Work: For this theme, we'll delve into "whole" life issues and discuss how your approach to your work can impact your health and happiness.  We'll share perspectives on work-life balance, stress reduction, and mid-life career management.

Transitions: Here we'll bring together the best ideas and resources for moving through the process of change and transition seamlessly.  We'll recommend strategies for finding meaningful work, changing careers or redirecting your career path - and landing where you want to be.

Watch for our monthly Meaningful Careers News for upcoming topics, dates and times.  We'll show you how to register a couple of ways - for one forum at a time or for a series of four that will take you through a complete theme cycle (you'll receive a discount when you register for a cycle).  All sessions will be recorded and available to registrants on our website for later listening.
