Dave is well known in Ural circles as Mr. Cob, and has posted endless ride reports in ADVRider related to his experience with Ural bikes since 2005. In recent times I've fielded many questions from persons interested in the Ural product. As an owner I can do a reasonable job answering them, offering information beyond the scope of that traditionally available on the sales floor.

 

Dave Hooker, however has knowledge of Ural products eclipsing that of mere mortals - and he intends to share as much as he can in the time allocated.

 

So, if you want to know how good the recent upgrades are come listed to Dave. More than likely he's field tested that upgrade a year or two ago as he is an unofficial stress tester for Ural. His feedback does get incorporated into the bikes and, as the result, we all benefit. If you want to know how durable and field repairable a Ural is then you need to be here - Dave knows.
