Looking for a very affordable internship in a historic area an hour outside of Shanghai? Work in an elementary school, kindergarten or language training school as a conversational English teacher in Wuxi, China. Interns are encouraged to tailor the internship to their interests and may teach at a combination of these three private schools. This is a PAID internship: room and board, a monthly stipend AND partial payment of your airfare are provided.

CHINA: Jinqiao Education Group, Wuxi

Jinqiao Education Group is the largest private education group in Wuxi. Interns will be paired with a teaching assistant while teaching, but will also have the opportunity to participate in student recruitment, faculty recruitment, hosting activities at the schools, taking part in bilingual education research, teaching faculty and more!
Unlike many teaching opportunities, one term internships are possible. A stipend and room and board are provided with a homestay or apartment housing possible. Additionally, at least 30% of your international airfare will be reimbursed upon completion of the internship. The school will provide Mandarin lessons for those interested in studying Chinese. This is a great opportunity for students interested in education, TESOL, or for anyone interested in gaining professional experience in China.
